Our Mission

          The epicenter of DTLAtech in partnership with Mayor Eric Garcetti & Councilman Jose Huizar. We curate the only central calendar for all things tech and creative within Downtown LA. Our community resource center is home to daily low cost & free programming open to the public. We host a quarterly tech job fair and home of the only VC lounge in town where local companies can get in front of local investors. 

Our Team

Audrey Bellis- Founder

Audrey is a first-generation Latina actively building the tech community in downtown as the founder of StartUp DTLA and as a co-founder of Grid110. She also supports female tech entrepreneurs, executives, & creatives as the founder of #WorthyWomen. Mayor Garcetti’s office honored her as 1 of 5 “Inspiring Latina’s of LA” and TechOutLA named her “a key player in the Eastside/DTLA tech movement.”

She has been published by The Huffington Post, Metro UK, GOOD Magazine, Morocco World News, and Times of Israel.

Shayla Mars - Partnerships + Community Manager

Shayla is a first-generation college graduate of Dartmouth College with a penchant for social innovation and global equity. She is an experienced digital content strategist and previously was VP of Digital Content for award-winning startup Vendedy. She has produced content for several innovative businesses including PivotDesk, Hightower Commercial Real Estate Software and My Bank Tracker. 

At StartupDTLA, she oversees partnership development and connects the entrepreneurial community in downtown Los Angeles.
